Song Configuration

Configuration Overview

All configurations for Song are centralized to a single environment variable file .env.song. These configurations are essential for linking Song with other services.

There are five primary steps for successfully configuring Song for installation:

1. Connecting Song with it's companion file transfer service (Score)
2. Setting up and linking Song to an OAuth service
3. Connecting Kafka
4. Configuring ID management
5. Configuring Schema Strictness
